1 lb apples, stewed very dry

1 lb sugar

1/2 lb butter

7 egg yolks
-
Rind & juice of 2 lemons
Add butter and sugar to the stewed apples. Slowly stir in the egg yolks, lemon juice and rind. Bake in a pastry.
