Apple Pie

  • Tart, juicy apples - pared, cored & sliced
  • 1 ounce butter
  • Sugar
  • Peel of 1/2 lemon, grated
  • Half puff paste
Stew the apples in as little water as possible. Rub through a colander. Add butter, sugar to taste and grated lemon peel.

Bake between 2 crusts.
