Apple Jelly

  • Apples
  • Sugar
Cut apples in quarters. Put in pot and add water to nearly cover fruit. Cover and cook slowly until apples are soft. Mash apples and drain through coarse sieve. Allow juice to drip through jelly bag. Boil for 20 minutes, add equal quantity of heated sugar and boil for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Skim and put in glasses. Seal.
