Apple Jelly
- 1 lb moist sugar
- 1 lb apples
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Rind of 1 lemon, very finely cut
- Almonds
Boil all of the above ingredients together until it becomes a jelly. Let it stand in a mold until quite firm and cold. Turn it out and stick it with almonds. Set custard around the jelly. If this is for dessert, use a small, plain mold.
