Apple Ice Cream
- Pare, core and grind enough apples to make 1 quart pulp
- 2 pounds sugar
- 2 cups cider
- 1 gallon cream
- Ice and salt mixture
Pare, core and grind enough apples to make 1 quart pulp. Add 2 pounds sugar and 2 cups cider and cook 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Cool, and 1 gallon cream, stir thoroughly, freeze in ice and salt mixture. Serves 30.
