Apple & Brown Bread Pudding

  • 1 pint brown bread crumbs
  • 1 pint apples, chopped
  • 2/3 cup suet, finely chopped
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 pint milk
Mix the bread crumbs and apples together. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix with the milk and boil in buttered molds for about 2 hours. Serve with sauce flavored with lemon.
