Anchovy Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Anchovy butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp butter
  • Hot water or stock
Make a white sauce, melting the butter. Add flour gradually, then moisten with little broth or boiling water. Let thicken. Take prepared anchovy butter, let it melt in the sauce. Serve with boiled fish.
