Wine Sauce

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups Madeira wine
  • Flour
Put a little water in the stew pan and let it boil. Roll the butter in a little flour and stir it in the boiling water quickly. Add sugar and lastly, the wine.
