What-is-it (layered dessert)
- 1 package refrigerated cookie roll - all of them work great room temperature
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 8 oz package cream cheese
- 1 large container whipped topping - thawed
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 small packages instant chocolate pudding mix prepared as instructed for pudding
Preheat oven 350. Oil spray 9x12 baking pan.
Spread cookie roll in bottom of prepared pan and bake 10-15 minutes or till slightly browned (best is not over-baked). Let cool.
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 container whipped topping. Spread over cooled cookie layer
Follow instructions on pudding box for chocolate pudding then pour over cream cheese layer.
Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding layer ad sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate till serving.
Serves 12 People
