Vegetable Sauce

  • 1/2 cup of any of these vegetables: celery, asparagus, cauliflower, green peas or mushrooms
  • 1 cup white sauce (see White Sauce for Creamed Meats, Fish, Vegetables & Toast recipe)
Add the vegetable to the white sauce. Mix completely together.

Serve with chicken, meat or fish croquettes.
