Vegetable Hash
- Turnips
- Cabbage
- Beets
- Carrots
- Onions
- Cold, boiled potatoes
- Seasoning
- Milk or gravy
- Bacon fat, butter or dripping
Chop the turnips, cabbage, beets, carrots and onions, one or all, with the boiled potatoes. Season. Moisten with a small amount of milk or gravy. Brown quickly in hot bacon fat, butter or dripping.
