Veal Loaf
- 3 pounds veal
- 1/2 pound of salt pork
- 1 pint rolled crackers
- 1 half the crackers
- 2 well eggs
- Butter
- Cream
- Pepper, salt a
- Celery salt
Three pounds veal and 1/2 pound of salt pork chopped together, 1 pint rolled crackers. Take a little more than one half the crackers and mix with the meat. Also 2 well-beaten eggs and butter the size of an egg and a little cream. Roll the loaf in the remainder of the crackers. Bake three hours. Season with pepper, salt and celery salt.
