Vanilla Fudge

  • 2 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 4 Tbsps butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add sugar and milk. Stir constantly until dissolved. Bring to a boil. Let boil to 238°F or until a soft ball is formed when candy is tried in cold water. Remove from the fire. Let stand until it has cooled. Add vanilla and beat until it has a creamy consistency. Turn into a pan lined with butter. Cut in squares.
