Tongue & Prunes
- Beef tongue
- 1 lb prunes
- 1 lb raisins
- 1/4 lb sugar
- Spices to taste
- 1 lemon
Parboil the beef tongue and skin it. Add the prunes, raisins, sugar and spices to taste. Let it stew until perfectly well cooked. When nearly done, add the lemon.
