Tomato Mustard

  • 1 pack tomatoes
  • 3 red peppers
  • 5 onions
  • 1/2 pound salt
  • 1 pint vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 ounce ginger
  • 1/2 ounce cloves
  • 1/2 ounce mace
  • 1/4 pound mustard
Boil tomatoes with peppers and onions for about an hour. Then strain through a colander and add salt, black pepper, ginger, cloves, mace (ground). Boil for one hour; when cold add mustard and vinegar.
