The Chewy Chocolate Cookie
- 1 1/4 c butter, softened
- 2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 3/4 c Hershey's cocoa
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 bag peanut butter chips
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not over bake. Cookies will be soft. They will puff during baking, flatten upon cooling.) Cool on cookie sheet until set, about 1 minute; remove to cool completely.
