Supreme of Mushroom Sauce
- 1 pound can of mushrooms, drained, dried, sliced
- 1 can peas
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 can tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/6 tsp pepper
Mix tomatoes, onions, salt, pepper, paprika and butter in sauce pan. Cook slowly for half an hour. Add mushrooms (slightly sauted in butter) to mixture, together with peas. Cook for approximately ten minutes longer, then thicken with flour paste made with water. Heat well and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
