Superior Pudding
- 4 eggs, yolks & whites separated
- 1 quart milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsps flour
- Lemon or vanilla extract
Beat the sugar, flour and egg yolks together with 1 cup of the milk. Scald the remainder of the milk and place the mixture in it. Flavor with lemon or vanilla.
Beat the egg whites to a stiff froth. Add a little sugar. Spread on top of the pudding and brown slightly.
