Stewed Red Cabbage
- Red cabbage
- Salt
- Stock
- Butter
- Flour
- Pepper
- Salt
- Glass of vinegar
- Bacon
Split the red cabbage and cut it into thin slices. Soak in salt and water, then put it in a saucepan with some stock and a little butter blended with flour. Add pepper and salt, vinegar and a bit of bacon. Stew until tender. Take out the bacon and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
