Stewed Carrots

  • Carrots
  • Weak broth
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • 2 tsps flour
  • Pepper
Wash and scrape the carrots. Split the largest. Whiten them in hot water and drain on a sieve. Boil in weak broth, with salt. Put some butter in a saucepan. Add flour. Stir it and brown the flour. Add carrots, broth and pepper. Stir and allow to simmer all together.
