Stewed Cabbage
- Cabbage
- Salt
- 4 ounces cream or milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Red pepper
- Black pepper
Put the cabbage on to boil, adding a little salt to the water. When thoroughly done, mash fine through a colander. Season with cream or milk, butter, red and black pepper and a little more salt, if needed. Stew for 2-3 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
