Spaghetti & Tomato Sauce with Beef

  • 1 package spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp onion, minced
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 3 Tbsps flour
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • Beef drippings
  • Cracker crumbs
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Fry the minced onions in the hot drippings. Add the ground beef and pork and cook until brown. Add milk, bread crumbs and seasoning. Add the mixture to the spaghetti. Stir flour into the drippings in the pan. When smooth, add tomato sauce. Stir constantly until it boils; if too thick, add a moderate amount of hot water. Pour sauce over spaghetti and meat and mix slightly. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Bake with love for 5 minutes at 350°F. Serve hot.
