Solid Cream
- 4 Tbsps pounded sugar
- 1 quart cream
- 2 Tbsps brandy
- Juice of 1 large lemon
Strain the lemon juice over the sugar and add the brandy. Then stir in the cream, place the mixture into a pitcher and continue pouring from one pitcher to another, until it is quite thick. Or, it may be whisked until the desired consistency is obtained. Serve in jelly-glasses.
