- 2 eggs
- 7 ounces sugar
- 2 ounces almonds, blanched & finely chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 lb flour
- 13 ounces butter
Beat the eggs with the sugar for 15 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Add the chopped almonds and vanilla. Knead in the flour and butter. Put the dough through a sprits cookie tube to form rings or the letter S. Bake to a light yellow in a hot oven at 400°F
