Savory Turnips

  • 3 pounds turnips
  • 1 1/2 pound onions
  • 1 pound potatoes
  • pepper and salt
  • Flour
Cover whole with water, and boil until tender. Thicken with flour, which has been mixed to a paste with some of the stock.
