Sausage Croquettes

  • 2 lbs meat, ground
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • Cracker or bread crumbs
  • Lard
Mix the ground meat, eggs, butter and milk together. Add enough powdered cracker or bread crumbs to thicken while on the fire. Roll into oblong shapes. Roll the balls in cracker dust. Fry in lard.
