Salted Round of Beef

  • 10 lbs round of beef
Put the beef in cold water and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for 3-4 hours until done. If you do not serve it until cold, let it remain in the water it was boiled in until it is cold, then drain it dry and set aside and take a deep breath. If to be served hot, use tomato catsup as a sauce.
