Sally Lunn (Unfermented)
- Butter
- 1 quart flour
- 1/2 pint milk
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsps sugar
- 3 tsps baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Rub a piece of butter as large as an egg into the flour. Add milk, eggs, sugar, baking powder and salt. Or, you can also scatter the baking powder, sugar and salt into the flour. Then add the eggs, the melted butter and milk. Stir all together and bake in well-greased round pans. Eat warm with butter.
