Sally Lunn
- 1 pint milk
- 3 eggs, whites & yolks beaten separately
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 pints flour
- 2 ounces yeast
- 2 ounces butter
Warm the butter in the milk. Mix all of the above ingredients together in the morning if it is to be served for tea. When light, stir it down. Pour into a pan and let it rise again. If baked in 1 pan, bake for nearly an hour.
