Rye Mush

  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 Tbsps rye meal
Sift the meal into the boiling water, stirring all the while. Add salt. Stir constantly until it boils again. Cover. Cook slowly for about an hour. Serve with sugar and cream.
