Rusks
- 1 cup yeast
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cream
- 4 eggs
- Flour
- 4 ounces lard & butter, mixed
Mix all of the above ingredients well together. Add enough flour to make a batter. Let it rise (rise up!). Add more flour to make rolls. Add the mixed lard and butter. Bake as rolls after they have risen.
