Rich Sauce for Puddings
  • 1 pint cream
  • 1/2 lb sugar
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 4 Tbsps wine
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the cream and wine. Season to taste. Put over a slow fire and do not let it boil.
