Prune and Nut Fritters
- 1 pound French prunes
- almonds
- batter
Soak and stew prunes until tender, but do not boil to pieces. Strain from liquor and cool. Remove stones, and insert an almond in each prune. Dip in fritter batter and brown in hot fat.
