Princess Alice salad
- Medium-sized apple
- Sliced blanched almonds
- Fresh currants
- 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon whipped cream
- Salt to taste
Cut the pulp from a medium-sized apple with a French vegetable cutter, leaving the skin of apple still whole and shaped. Be careful not to cut too closely. Dice pulp, mix it with sliced blanched almonds, fresh currants, 2 teaspoons mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon whipped cream, salt to taste. Stuff the apple shell with the mixture. Serve a filled apple of lettuce leaves as individual salad.
