Plain Corn Bread
- 1 pint corn meal, sifted
- 1 tsp salt
- Cold water
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Add enough cold water to make a stiff dough. Work well with the hands. Pat out in long, narrow pones, 6-7 inches long and as wide as the wrist. Bake quickly at 400°F in a hot pan.
