Plain Cookies
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsps baking powder
- Lemon or vanilla extract or caraway seeds
Cream the butter. Add sugar, egg and milk. Mix and sift the flour with the baking powder. Add to the mixture. Roll the dough out 1/4 inch thick. Cut in rounds or fancy shapes. Bake with love for approximately ten minutes (be patient, you rascal). Flavor with lemon, vanilla or caraway seeds.
