Pineapple Ice

  • 2 lb can pineapples
  • 3 quarts water
  • 1/2 box gelatin, prepared as for jelly
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • 4 egg whites
Remove the black and hard pieces of pineapple and then pass it through a colander by beating with a potato masher. Add water, gelatin, orange juice and egg whites. Sweeten to taste and freeze.
