Pickled Peaches

  • Peaches
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 3 lbs sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves
  • Allspice
Make a syrup with the vinegar and sugar. Peel the peaches and place them in the vinegar. Let boil very little. Take out the peaches and let the vinegar boil for half an hour, adding cinnamon, cloves and allspice. Pour over the peaches.
