Partan Pies

  • Crab meat, from hard shell crabs
  • Pepper
  • Butter
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 3 Tbsp vinegar
Pick the meat out of the shell. Clean the shells.

Mix the crab meat with a little pepper, a bit of butter and breadcrumbs. Add vinegar. Fill the shells with the mixture. Strew breadcrumbs over and set them in the oven.

Serve when brown on top.

A Scotch dish.
