Parkerhouse Rolls
- 6 cups waffle flour
- 1 cup shortening
- Milk
Cut shortening and flour together. Add enough milk to make dough stick around knife in a ball. Knead a little. Roll out in a sheet 1/2 inch thick. Cut in rounds. Brush with melted butter and fold into two equal parts. Place in a warm spot to rise up for a few minutes (be patient, you rascal). Bake in a quick oven at 400°F.
