Pan Oysters, No.2
- 1/2 pint large oysters
- Oyster liquor
- Toasts
Lay the oysters in a thin pie tin or dripping pan. Have the pan large enough so that each oyster can lie flat on the bottom. Pour over them a little oyster liquor but not enough to float.
Place in a hot oven and heat them through. Be careful not to bake them. It should take 3-5 minutes, depending on the oven temperature.
Take the oysters out. Place on toasts moistened with the hot juice from the pan.
