Oyster Pies

  • Puff paste
  • Butter
  • Oysters
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Egg batter
Butter the pie dish and cover the bottom with a puff paste. Lay on it enough oysters to cover the bottom.

Butter them and season with a little salt and plenty of pepper. Spread over this the egg batter.

Cover with a crust of the paste , making small openings in it with a fork.

Bake in a hot oven at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until the top is nicely browned.
