One, Two, Three, Four Coconut Cake
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 small coconut, grated
Cream the butter and sugar together. Slowly stir in the beaten egg whites and baking soda. Mix the cream of tartar in the flour and sift the flour into the mixture. Slowly stir in the grated coconut last.
