Oatmeal Muffins
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 1/2 pints flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 1 pint milk
- 1 Tbsp lard
- 2 eggs
Mix all of the above ingredients smoothly into a batter rather thinner than for cup cakes. Fill the muffin rings 2/3 full and bake in a hot oven at 400°F for about 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
