Oatmeal Macaroons
- Cream 2 tablespoons butter. Add slowly:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Yolks 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Flavor with 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Fold in whites of 2 eggs beaten dry
Drop from teaspoon on buttered baking sheets about 3 inches apart. Bake in slow oven.
