Nut Bread
- 1 cup entire wheat flour
- 1 cup white flour
- 1/2 cake yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 lb hickory nuts, shelled
Set a sponge of the wheat flour, white flour, yeast and milk. When light, add sugar, salt, hickory nuts and enough wheat flour to make as stiff as can be stirred with a spoon.
Put in the pan and let it rise. Bake with love for approximately an hour.
