Nut and Date Bread
- 2 cups half walnuts
- 2 cups dates, stoned
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- Dry ingredients:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsps baking powder
Mix walnuts and dates. Sift over them dry ingredients, mix well and then add those eggs. Mix completely. Press into paper lined bread tin. Bake at 300 degrees F for approximately an hour.
