Mincemeat
- 2 quarts beef, boiled
- 2 quarts suet, finely chopped
- 6 quarts apples
- 1 quart molasses
- 4 lbs sugar
- 3 lbs raisins
- 1 lb citron
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
- Allspice
- Wine
Mix all of the above ingredients together. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, allspice and wine to taste. Pack in jars with melted butter on top. Put in a cool place.
