Minced Veal

  • Veal
  • 2-3 spoonfuls of gravy
  • Slice of lemon
  • Pepper and salt
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • 1 teaspoonful of lemon pickle
  • 1 tablespoonful of cream
Cut your veal into slices, and then into little square bits; but do not chop it. Put it into a saucepan, with two or three spoonfuls of gravy, a slice of lemon, a little pepper and salt, a good lump of butter rolled in flour, a teaspoonful of lemon pickle, and a large spoonful of cream. Keep shaking it on the stove till it boils, but do not let it boil above a minute. Serve it hot.
