Minced Meat with Bread Crumbs

  • Any kind of leftover meat, very finely chopped
  • Bread crumbs
  • Butter
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 cup cream
Place a breadcrumb layer in a baking dish. Season with a lump of butter, black pepper and salt. Put a layer of minced meat. Do alternate layers of bread crumbs and minced meat until the dish is filled. Pour cream over all. Be sure to have enough lumps of butter to make it rich. Bake until it is a good brown color on top.
